Nick Goodwin
Nick Goodwin was born in Kings Lynn, Norfolk in 1975 and now lives in the north of England, Nick has had a fascination with drawing and painting from a very early age. He attended Falmouth College of Art where he was formally trained in illustration and he began painting professionally in 2010.
Nick Goodwin is fast gaining a reputation for his photorealistic style of painting where detail is the focus of his work. His aim is to provide the viewer with the opportunity to savour his subjects close up, enabling them to appreciate and find beauty in things in a way that they may not have previously noticed.
Working solely in oils, Nick Goodwin continues to challenge himself both technically and compositionally with each successive painting in his quest for photorealism, and his work is much admired.
