Glynn Williams

Glynn Williams has been a regular exhibitor at Beckstones Art Gallery for more than twenty years and has built up a large number of followers. Born in Kent in 1955, Glynn Williams has been painting professionally since the 1970’s. Principally self-taught, he specialises in small oils of farm animals in gentle rural settings, often featuring cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, hens and geese. Glynn Williams’ well observed and finely painted atmospheric hunting scenes are particularly sought after and are in many prestigious collections. The precision with which Glynn Williams depicts each animal marks him out as an artist of exceptional equality with an easy ability to capture the correct posture of his subject, which contrasts perfectly with his subtle, gentle backgrounds. Glynn Williams work has been published in several forms, and examples of his paintings are in numerous collections around the world, including the U.S.A., Japan and South America.
