| Keith Burtonshaw has been a constant exhibitor at Beckstones Art Gallery since the gallery was first established more than thirty years ago, during which time many hundreds of customers have purchased his work. Born in 1930, he has had a lifelong interest in landscape painting. Keith Burtonshaw is principally self-taught, and enjoys trying to capture the essential mood and atmosphere of the Lakeland landscapes. His technique with sky and water, light and reflections give Keith Burtonshaw’s work an unmistakable quality and makes it much sought-after. He has always concentrated on watercolours and specialises in Lake District views. Keith Burtonshaw is a member of the United Society of Artists, the National Society of Painters, and the British Watercolour Society, and exhibits regularly at their Exhibitions. Keith Burtonshaw has also exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours exhibitions in London and is a member of the London Sketch Club. His paintings are in numerous collections in the UK and around the world. | ||||||
