| Tom Harland has exhibited at Beckstones Art Gallery every year since 1984. Born in 1945 in Yorkshire, Tom Harland studied at Hull College of Art and at Middlesbrough, and has remained true to his roots and exhibits a remarkable affinity to the northern landscape. Thoroughly professional with a highly distinctive style, people identify with the warmth and realism of his paintings that give them a unique view that is forever England. A favourite area is the Lake District which he paints in watercolours, pastel and oil. Tom Harland works are collected around the world and adorn the boardrooms and offices of some of Britain’s most prestigious companies (including British Petroleum, Express Dairies, BHS, Kingfisher, Northern Foods, P & O etc.). He has exhibited widely and much of his work has been published. | ||||||
